Ate here in 2023 - forgot what i ordered probably pasta, tiramisu and an aperol spritz. I am an uncultured white man. From memory, the waiter sat me next to two lovely Germany ladies from China. Though they were not italian baddies, I appreciated the waiters efforts to engage me in a potential romantic evening. Will return.

pasta itself good. sauces over seasoned. almost to the point of encouraging order of drinks. maybe it's the roman robust flavour. also went thru a long whatsapp reservation dance. asked for 7pm and offered 5pm which I took. by the time I left at 5.30 place was 20% occupied. I mean thanks for keeping me out of the way of your other "real" customers.

We had an amazing dinner. The vibe was great for a Friday night, and the food was amazing. Our waiter accidentally smashed my wine glass but gave me a complimentary drink to make up for it which was a good add on to the service. All the waiters were nice and super attentive.

Amongst many restaurants where surely tourists will visit, THIS place did not sacrifice flavor, quality or service. I don’t write five star reviews if they don’t deserve it. We came here for the fresh pasta, high quality ingredients and flavor execution. Winner! Gnocchi, strozzapretti… carbonara, oxtail. Polpette meatballs. Best house red wine I can remember. Cheesecake dessert was the lightest version we’ve ever had; not dense, heavy like American version… try it for like creamy dessert (served with fresh berries). Tiramisu was very good also, maybe wish bottom layer soaked more. €2

While I know this is certainly a tourist restaurant, I had been dying to try it for years and my expirence did not disappoint!!! The quality of the ingredients is superb and the portions are very generous. I started off with a Sarti spritz, a new cocktail that is very hard to find in Italy, despite the liquor being Italian. If looking for Sarti Rosa, come here!! The pasta was perfectly chewy and the cacio e pepe was one of the best i’d ever eaten. I strolled up with my party at about 6:45 on a Monday evening and had no wait - maybe due to an embassy event happening down the street so the road was partially closed off. I wouldn’t wait in a long line for this food, but if you have been wanting to try Osteria da Fortunata and the line is 15 mins or less I highly recommend. I’m sure you can get traditional roman food that’s this good at many different restaurants but I loved my expirence here and the wait staff was so kind and attentive. Will be returning next time I am in Rome!

It was a typical Rome food with higher quality ingredients; and home made pasta. The taste and the sauces were unbelievably great and it worth every penny paid. I highly recommend it especially if you seated outside (wait your turn) and have the food served. The sauces taste and flavors were extremely rich and spark your senses. I recommend the the buffalo cheese with tomato, pasta with pesto sauce and ravioli with tomato sauce. There is one dish with eggplant that is irresistible.

Great Place Came here for lunch and we were hesitant to sit outside, since we don't like people smoking next to us while we eat. We were pleasantly surprised that they did not allow smoking in the outdoor area. A definite plus! The tables are a little tight, but the food was amazing. Great selection of vegetarian items. Our server was super nice with a great sense of humor. The bread was terrific!
